PARALYMPIC RACE
Favorable elevation profile, ideal road surface, route closed to traffic, assistance offered from departure to arrival. These are just some of the ingredients that over the years have contributed to make Padova a reference point for the Paralympic world.
And the outstanding results didn’t not lacked: it suffice to say that four are the world records realized here by wheelchairs and blind and that among the stars that animated the race there are champions such as Francesca Porcellato, Andrea Cionna e Thomas Geierspichler, just to name a few.

But from Abano Terme will also start the Padova Half Marathon, heading towards the center of Montegrotto Terme, a town enthusiastically entered the “family” of the Marathon, and then goes back to Padova rejoining the route of the longest race around 30 kilometer.
