A challange that, unsurprisingly, was immediatly accepted by thousands of running enthusiasts.
And it was only natural because the Padova Half Marathon embraces the temple of well-being, the thermal area,starting from Abano Terme and immediately heading towards Montegrotto, then climbing through the most famous part of Padua,its wonderful squares and the Basilica del Santo, to land in the enchanting Prato della Valle.

The race is open to all participants who have reached 18 years of age by the day of the event.
For Runcard members the minimum age is 20.

The race is open to all italian athletes who hold one of the following membership cards:

FOREIGN ATHLETES LIVING ABROAD WITHOUT MEMBERSHIP
SPORT-TOURISM "NON-COMPETITIVE" PARTICIPATION
Foreign athletes residing abroad without a membership can participate as “non-competitive”, but they have to fill in a disclaimer form during the registration process.
Attention: By choosing this option these athletes will be included in the rankings only with the race time without the position and category and will not be able to benefit from any prizes, bonuses, expense reimbursements, etc.
ENTRY FEES
Entry fees for the Padova Half Marathon 2026 are fixed as follow:
- € 28,00 from 26.06.2025 to 30.09.2025 (early bird)
- € 32,00 from 01.10.2025 to 20.12.2025
- € 40,00 from 21.12.2025 to 20.02.2026
- € 45,00 from 21.02.2026 to 10.04.2026
- € 55,00 at the EXPO – subject to bib numbers availability
ATTENTION: If the maximum number of participants is reached, registrations will be closed in advance
SPECIAL OFFERS
- WOMEN: € 28,00 from 26.06.2025 to 30.09.2025, then fixed fee € 32,00 until 10.04.2026
- RUNNING TEAMS: every 10 people registered for the marathon by the same sports club 1 of them is FREE until 10.04.2026. The 10 registrations must be sent at the same time and must be complete with all the details.
The promotions are not cumulative: the fixed fee for women is only valid for individual registrations.

The selection of the race must be made at the beginning where the different fees appear.

- copy of the registration form completed and signed
- copy of the payment by bank transfer made to the following code IBAN IT 95 Z 02008 12100 000104650252 – account holder: Assindustria Sport SSDARL. On the payment description must be indicated: “Registration Padova Marathon 2026 + the name and surname of the participant/s”.
- copy of the Runcard (ONLY for NON FIDAL ATHLETES)
- copy of the medical certificate for athletics valid on the day of the event (ONLY for athletes NON FIDAL MEMBERS).
CUMULATIVE REGISTRATIONS
It is possible to pay the registration fees of several athletes in a single solution by bank transfer, the important thing is to specify in the payment description the names of all athletes and send all the registration cards together.

It is also possible to register at Assindustria Sport offices at Stadio Daciano Colbachini (Piazzale Azzurri d’Italia – 35134 Padova – Italy) and pay the entry fee with card or in cash. The offices are open from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm.

RACE COURSE
The Padua Half Marathon starts from Abano Terme, with the starting line from Monteortone Stadium, then immediately head towards the center of Montegrotto Terme.
The return to Padua runs through the Mandria and via Goito. The entrance into the historic center goes up via Vescovado and Piazza del Duomo.
The race runs through the most fascinating part of the city, touching Piazza dei Signori, Piazza della Frutta, passing alongside the Caffè Pedrocchi, the Palazzo del Bo and in front of the Basilica of Sant’Antonio, emblem of Christianity. Finally, it flows into the beautiful scenery offered by Prato della Valle, one of the most evocative in the world.
FAQ – FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is valid a medical certificate in which "Athletics" is not indicated?
No. According to Federal regulations, the medical certificate must be specific for “Athletics”.
When do the registrations close?
It is possible to register until 10.04.2026. At the Expo only according to bib numbers availability.
If the maximum number of participants is reached, registrations will be closed in advance.
What does the entry fee include?
The entry fee includes:
- race bib;
- official t-shirt;
- insurance and medical assistance during the event;;
- refreshment and sponging along the racecourse;
- goody bag;
- refreshment at the end of the race
- transport of personal clothing from the start area to the finish area
- pre-race and post-race transportation by shuttle buses

The race-bib numbers will be automatically assigned on the basis of the best personal time achieved in the last two years, declared at the time of registration.
If I am unable to participate, can I get a refund?
Entry fees are not refundable in case you decide not to take part to the race. Anyway, you can:
- transfer your registration fee to Padova Marathon 2027 by previously sending an e-mail to iscrizioni@padovamarathon.com by 10/04/2026. The confirmation of the participation to the Padova Marathon 2027 undergoes the payment of € 10,00 for secretarial rights.
- transfer your registration to another runner by previously sending an e-mail to iscrizioni@padovamarathon.com by 10/04/2026. In case of “name change” you will be asked to pay extra 10,00 € for secretarial rights.
When can I pick up my race bib number?
Athletes will be able to pick up their bib and goody bag at the Expo Village in the Fair of Padova (Via Niccolò Tommaseo, 59) on the following days:
- Thursday April 23rd from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm
- Friday April 24th from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm
- Saturday April 25th from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm
