A challange that, unsurprisingly, was immediatly accepted by thousands of running enthusiasts.
And it was only natural because the Padova Half Marathon embraces the temple of well-being, the thermal area,starting from Abano Terme and immediately heading towards Montegrotto, then climbing through the most famous part of Padua,its wonderful squares and the Basilica del Santo, to land in the enchanting Prato della Valle.

The race is open to all participants who have reached 18 years of age by the year 2025,
For Runcard members the minimum age is 20.
ITALIAN ATHLETES
The race is open to all italian athletes who hold one of the following membership cards:
- FIDAL
- RUNCARD + Health Form or health certificate for athletics at competitive levels valid on April 27th, 2025
- RUNCARD EPS + Health Form or health certificate for athletics at competitive levels valid on April 27th, 2025
INTERNATIONAL ATHLETES
The race is open to all foreign athletes who hold one of the following membership cards:
- Membership to a sports club or group recognized by World Athletics + self-certification of membership
- RUNCARD + Health Form or health certificate for athletics at competitive levels
ENTRY FEES
Entry fees for the Padova Half Marathon 2025 are fixed as follow:
- € 25,00 from 25.07.2024 to 30.09.2024 (early bird)
- € 30,00 from 01.10.2024 to 15.12.2024
- € 38,00 from 16.12.2024 to 15.02.2025
- € 44,00 from 16.02.2025 to 11.04.2025
- € 55,00 at the EXPO – subject to bib numbers availability
ATTENTION: If the maximum number of participants is reached, registrations will be closed in advance
SPECIAL OFFERS
- WOMEN: € 25,00 from 25.07.2024 to 30.09.2024, then fixed fee € 30,00 until 11.04.2025
- RUNNING TEAMS: every 10 people registered for the marathon by the same sports club one of them is FREE until 11.04.2025. The 10 registrations must be sent at the same time and must be complete with all the details.
The promotions are not cumulative: the fixed fee for women is only valid for individual registrations: in case of five registrations of which a woman, the sports club promotion will be applied.

The selection of the race must be made at the beginning where the different fees appear.
To subscribe by e-mail you must send to the email iscrizioni@padovamarathon.com:
- copy of the registration form completed and signed
- copy of the payment by bank transfer made to the following code IBAN IT 25 B 05336 12143 000046830129 – account holder: Assindustria Sport SSDARL. On the payment description must be indicated: “Registration Padua Marathon 2023 + the name and surname of/i participant/i”.
- copy of the Runcard (ONLY for NON FIDAL ATHLETES)
- copy of the medical certificate for athletics, valid on April 27th, 2025 (ONLY for athletes NON FIDAL MEMBERS).
CUMULATIVE REGISTRATIONS
It is possible to pay the registration fees of several athletes in a single solution by bank transfer, the important thing is to specify in the payment description the names of all athletes and send all the registration cards together.
It is also possible to register in person at the offices of Assindustria Sport at Stadio Daciano Colbachini, Piazzale Azzurri d’Italia – 35134 Padova – Italy and pay the entry fee with cash or card.
The offices are open from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm.

RACE COURSE
The Padua Half Marathon starts from Abano Terme, with the starting line from Monteortone Stadium, then immediately head towards the center of Montegrotto Terme.
The return to Padua runs through the Mandria and via Goito. The entrance into the historic center goes up via Vescovado and Piazza del Duomo.
The race runs through the most fascinating part of the city, touching Piazza dei Signori, Piazza della Frutta, passing alongside the Caffè Pedrocchi, the Palazzo del Bo and in front of the Basilica of Sant’Antonio, emblem of Christianity. Finally, it flows into the beautiful scenery offered by Prato della Valle, one of the most evocative in the world.

What does the entry fee include?
La quota di partecipazione include:

Are there any starting grids?
The race-bib numbers will be automatically assigned on the basis of the best personal time achieved in the last two years, declared at the time of registration.
If I am unable to participate, can I get a refund?
In caso di mancata partecipazione alla gara, le quote d’iscrizione non sono in nessun caso rimborsabili. Tuttavia, per l’atleta impossibilitato a prendere parte alla maratona o alla mezza maratona è possibile:
- Trasferire l’iscrizione alla Padova Marathon 2026 previa comunicazione scritta all’organizzazione da effettuarsi via e-mail all’indirizzo: iscrizioni@padovamarathon.com entro l’11 aprile 2025. La conferma dell’iscrizione all’edizione 2026 sarà subordinata al versamento di € 10,00 per diritti di segreteria da versare successivamente alla manifestazione unitamente alla scheda d’iscrizione 2026.
- Trasferire l’iscrizione ad altra persona in regola con il certificato medico o il tesseramento Fidal previa comunicazione scritta all’organizzazione dei dati del nuovo atleta sempre entro l’11 aprile 2025 e previo pagamento di €10,00 per diritti di segreteria. When can I pick up my race bib number?
Il pettorale di gara si potrà ritirare all’EXPO VILLAGE nelle giornate di venerdì 25 aprile dalle 15 alle 20 e sabato 26 aprile dalle 10 alle 20.
