MARATHON
When, near the finish line, Prato della Valle opens up in front of you in all its magnificence, the emotion is indescribable. But it is not only the final stretch of the route that makes the Padova Marathon unique: it is its entire territory, background of the event.
The volcanic hills reclaimed by the monks, the suggestive entrance in Abano, where the thermal water gushes out since prehistoric times. And then the return through the most touristic part of the city, with the passage in front of the Basilica of Saint Anthony.
In the heart of the “beautiful Padua, cradle of the arts“ sung by Shakespeare.
